Cousin Daniel Crockett has helped the switch-foot book come along for a second edition. Daniel is a talented writer, artist and photographer and his little down home zines are about as roots as surf culture gets. You can flip through them here and order one for i think ten pounds. There are two printed zines....'the Wildering' and 'Melting Pot'...

Amazing how many people have never seen this film. 1968~69 shot by George Greenough with a killer soundtrack, by The Farm, grinding Hammond Organ blues style, Produced by Dennis Dragon the cult drummer from 'The Farm.' The Closing sequence 'the coming of the dawn' still has people marvelling at how he did it, and this is 40 years later. Beautiful footage of early Byron Bay town and surf at broken, Lennox and the pass with vintage style and changing equipment. Now available here on DVD transferred from the Original film in High Definition.

'Back somewhere in the middle of 2006 I was told by a mate from Dublin that there was this longboarding contest coming up in Lahinch, Co. Clare. I got this idea to design up some shirts to take down to the comp in the hope that the sales cover the costs for the pints. Over the next 3 weeks, about 25 designs were hand-drawn onto a bunch of shirts. A few photos were taken before one particular surf shop promptly bought the lot. Cheers Stuart!'

Switch-foot BOOK II
So excited to be able to say that YES, a second entire book will be floating around in 2009. A solo labour of love, just like the first book, but this time perhaps more substantial and defnitally moor gramatikal korrectness. We thank you for any support you can lend over summer, to help keep switch-foot floating.
Christmas is coming and we are here to run around and post things.
Tee shirts, music, dvds of many varieties, books, old mags, used thongs, we would even post you a pumpkin.
Recommended are Cyrus suttons Under The Sun Surf film, one of 50 signed switch-foot books left in the vault at $90.00, any classic old dvd, and of course our wonderfully gay organic tee shirts, in both mens and ladies cuts.

We are getting ready to beef up the website, and add a bunch more content....content that is in the second book, plus other interesting stuff that isnt right for print.
We are planning on having audio files to listen to some interviews, a section on people, not just photographers and artists, but also some comedy sketches to keep people happy.
We have some GREAT members in this little thing, and hope you all stay tuned....send us poems, art, images, weblinks, this sort of thing...so we can share the news.
Afro Dizzi Act ::: India Bound Jan 2009
Big news for Afro Dizzi Act. The band got invited to the Roots Festival of North East India in Jan 2009, and leave in 6 weeks. Currently they are working and recording with Jali Buba Kuyateh, from Senegal Africa. They are also recording in India, with some locals. If you want to be on the tour bus, then drop us a line!
